Ford posts 215 pc increase in Nov sales
New Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) Ford India today posted a 215 per cent increase in sales at 3,011 units in November as compared to 956 units in the same period last year.
The company sold 40,077 units during January to November, up by 108 per cent, as compared to 19,254 units during the same period last year.
In November 2006, it launched the Ikon Flair CNG, a dual-fuel variant, which can run both on petrol and Compressed Natural Gas.
Ford India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company, manufactures and distributes automobiles made at its manufacturing facility at Maraimalai Nagar near Chennai.
With over 1900 employees, the company's models include the Ikon, Fusion, Endeavour, Mondeo and the Fiesta.
