Five SC candidates selected for pursuing education abroad

Bhopal, Dec 1 (UNI) Five SC candidates have been selected by the Madhya Pradesh Government to pursue higher education abroad.

Kumari Deepti Kartikay, Pramod Kuril, Kamlesh Kumar Ahirwar, Pranesh Meshram and Ravi Abua had been selected for higher education by a committee formed by the government.

Under the scheme, it was mandatory for selected candidates to enroll in universities abroad within two years or else the selection would stand cancelled.

A provision for financial assistance of Rs 15 lakh per candidate has been made under the scheme.
