Education Officer, his deputy suspended for graft charges

Akola, Dec 1 (UNI) The Education Officer (Secondary) and Deputy Education Officer (Secondary) of Akola Zilla Parishad have been suspended for graft charges from the date of their arrest, according to official sources.

Sources said Dinesh Salunke and Vikas Tadas are on bail.

Tadas was caught red-handed while accepting Rs 50,000 as the bribe money from Anil Bonde at the VIP circuit house here on November 21 for according approval to the appointment of 20 employees of Maharashi Walmiki Vidyalaya at villages Anwi-Mirzapur and Kalambeshwar, near here, sources added.
