E-filing of IT returns by Corporates rises by 41.7 pc

New Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) The E-filing of income tax returns has received a good response from the Corporates, reflecting a growth rate of 41.7 per cent,says an official release.

As on November 30, 2006,the due date this year, 3,11,585 returns have been filed(23,114 paper returns and 2,88,471 e-returns).

This is against 2,19,884 paper returns filed as on October 31, the due date last year, according to the release.
