DHD cadres held for extortion

Diphu, Dec 1 (UNI) Two Dima Halom Daogah (DHD) militants were arrested here for extortion activities today.

Police informed that Formit Nonisa and Roman Haczer, cadres of the outfit, were arrested from Diphu market this morning.

They were on an extortion spree, as they later confessed before the police.

Some incriminating documents were seized from them, police added.

The DHD is in a ceasefire agreement with the government.
