Sriganganagar, Dec 1 (UNI) A complaint has been lodged in a lower court against Ganganagar Superintendent of Police Vinita Thakur and sub-inspector of Special Investigative team Sandeep Bishnoi for misleading the court by suppressing the FSL report of a case.

The complaint was lodged by Mirjewala resident Inayat Khan on Tuesday in the court of magistrate Palbindra Singh, in which he has alleged that both the police officers were involved in suppressing the FSL report, which misled the court.

Inayat Khan and Sanari Devi had lodged forgery and cheating complaints against each other at Jawahar Nagar police station in 2003. After investigations, the police filed the last report in both the cases.

Inayat Khan, meanwhile, sent the signatures to FSL Jaipur for investigations.

According to Inayat Khan's complaint, the FSL report had come to Jawahar Nagar police station on July 19, 2006 and it was registered the next day.

But on July 31, the court was told that FSL report has not come yet. The police reiterated that the FSL report had not come in the next hearing on August 31.

Inayat Khan in his complaint has said SP Vinita Thakur and Sandeep Bishnoi misled the court and unnecessarily elongated the court proceedings. The complaint has been lodged under section 217,218 and 219of the IPC. The court has fixed the next hearing on December 14.
