Centre extends agreement with NDFB

New Delhi, Dec 1 (Uni) The Home Ministry today announced that the suspension of operations agreement with National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) has been extended for a further period of six months.

The agreement expired today.

The decision to extend the agreement, till May 31, 2007, was taken at a tripartite meeting between the representatives of the Government of India, Government of Asom and NDFB.

Ministry sources said the NDFB representatives assured that they would submit their charter of demands latest by March one next year.
