110 houses gutted in Sitapur
Sitapur, Dec 1 (UNI) As many as 110 houses were gutted in separate fire mishaps in Sitapur district during the last 24 hrs.
Police said the first incident occurred in Suhela village this afternoon, where a major fire engulfed after a house accidently caught fire while a woman was preparing food.
By the time, the fire fighting vehicles came, 70 houses had already caught fire.
It took hours for the fire fighters to control the inferno. No reports of casualties was, however, reported in the incident.
In a similar incident, at least 40 houses were gutted in Baburi village last night.
A case was registered.
