Three Hizbul militants gunned down

Jammu, Nov 30 (UNI) Security forces today gunned downed three hardcore militants of Hizbul Mujahideen at Mahore in Udhampur district this evening, army sources said here.

The sources said the troops, acting on a tip-off, launched a search operation at Deol Marg at 1600 hrs. The three militants were killed in an ensuing encounter.

The slain militants have been identified as Shabbir Ahmed, Abdul Hameed alias Ashique and Mohammad Ameen alias Junaid. Security forces recovered one AK rifle, two UGBL, one SLR and one pistol, sources said.
