Students suspend stir in Manipur

Imphal, Nov 30 (UNI) The Manipuri Students Federation (MSF) today said it will suspend all stirs against the government after five of its leaders were released by police.

Five MSF leaders were detained under National Security Act for their alleged involvement in a stir demanding introduction of regular classes in the state, sources said.

Earlier, the MSF had destroyed government documents and attacked government offices during agitation.

The MSF president S Sanjoy said there would be no stir related to the issue.
