Silver steady, gold eases on thin buying support
Mumbai, Nov 30 (UNI) Silver remained steady even as Gold eased by Rs five on thin buying support on the Bombay Stock Exhange today.
Silver fineness opened low at Rs 20,020 per kg on poor demand.
Later, it went up and closed at yesterday's closing level of Rs 20,075 per kg on moderate demand.
In London, the white metal was quoted high at USD 13.65/13.70 per troy ounce against USD 13.63/13.66 per troy ounce in New York.
However, standard Gold (99.5) and pure Gold (99.9) also opened weak at Rs 9,255 and Rs 9,305 per ten gms respectively.
The yellow metal also rose slightly and closed low at Rs 9,265 and Rs 9,310 per ten gm with a loss of Rs five each from their last close.
In London, the yellow metal rose at USD 636.60/639.60 per troy ounce as compared to USD 633/636 per troy ounce at New York on Wednesday.
