New Delhi, Nov 30 (UNI) Mr Sandeep Dikshit (Cong) today said in the Lok Sabha that some members of the Supreme Court Monitoring Committee on the sealing drive against illegal shops in the city were showing partiality in their decisions.

Raising the issue during zero hour, Mr Dikshit said a large number of small shops were sealed in his East Delhi constituency yesterday because they were near the houses of some of the Monitoring Committee members.

These sealings were in fact against the Supreme Court guidelines as these poor shopkeepers had filed affidavits with the apex court, he said.

Even the Deputy Commissioners of Police opposed the sealing, but the committee members were adamant, he said.
