Rahul in Amethi from tomorrow

Sultanpur, Nov 30 (UNI) Congress MP from Amethi parliamentary constituency Rahul Gandhi will chair the district vigilance committee meeting on December 3.

Rahul, who reaches the constituency tomorrow morning, would also interact with the electorate for two days.

On December 3, he would chair the meeting of the district vigilance committee at the district headquarters.

The meeting would discuss various developmental works being undertaken in the constituency using various central funds, including his own MP Local Area Development (MPLAD) fund.

Mr Gandhi will review various development projects including the Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Yojna, Indira Awas Yojna, sanitation and education.

Besides, deliberations on desilting of canals and National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) is also said to be on the cards.

On December 4, the MP is likely to participate in a function to mark the first anniversary of Indira Gandhi Eye hospital, Munshiganj.
