Obscenity case against Raje for kiss controversy
Jodhpur, Nov 30 (UNI) An advocate here today lodged a complaint in a lower court for obscenity against Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Biocon's CEO Kiran Majumdar Shaw for their lip locking incident and also against the newspaper for publishing its photograph.
Advocate Sikandar Khan lodged a complaint before judicial magistrate (No 3) Hariballabh Khatri. The court has fixed the hearing for tomorrow.
The complainant has demanded action against newspaper for publishing the photo, Vasundhara Raje and Kiran Majumdar Shaw under Section 292 of Indian Penal Code and Section 3/6 under Indecent Representation Women Protection Act 1986.
Vasundhara Raje had hugged and kissed Kiran at the India Economic Summit in New Delhi on Tuesday and the newspaper had come out with the controversial photo the next day.
