Minor modifications in railway timetable
Bilaspur, Nov 30 (UNI) Minor modifications have been incorpoarted into the timings of express and passenger trains in the new railway timetable becoming effective from tomorrow for the next six months.
According to the Southeastern Central Railway spokesperson, the speed of some trains had been enhanced reducing the duration of journey by 2-5 hours.
On the other hand, the duration of journey of other trains had been increased as a part of the rationalisation process.
The 2441 Bilaspur-New Delhi Rajdhani Express will start at 0830 hrs instead of 0820 hrs and will reach New Delhi the next day at 0605 hrs, while the 2442 New Delhi-Bilaspur Rajdhani Express will leave at 2040 hrs as it does now but will arrive here five minutes earlier next day at 1650 hrs.
The 8517 Korba-Vishakhapatnam Exp will leave Korba at 1630 hrs as it does now but reach its destination next day five minutes before at 0810 hrs. The 8518 Vishakhapatnam-Korba Exp will leave 10 minutes earlier at 1850 hrs but will reach Korba at 1110 hrs as it does now.
The timings of the 2807 Samta Express from Vishakhapatnam to Nizamuddin via Raipur will be 0820 hrs/1635 hrs as against the present 0620 hrs/1650 hrs.
The 2808 return train will be leave at 0845 hrs as it does now but will reach Vishakhapatnam at 1830 hrs two hours earlier.
Similarly, minor modifications would be effected in the schedules of the Korba-Trivandrum Exp, Bilaspur-Nizamudding Exp, Bilaspur-Amritsar Exp, Bilaspur-Indore, Durg-Danapur Exp and Durg-Nizamuddin Sampark Kranti Exp.
Minor modifications had been made in the timings of almost all trains running through Chhattisgarh and going to Howrah, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Puri and Ranchi.
