Man charred to death in car accident

New Delhi, Nov 30 (UNI) A man was charred to death near DND flyover in South Delhi this evening after his car hit the side railings and caught fire.

The car, Maruti 800, which was on its way to Noida from Sarai Kale Khan hit the protective railing near the DND flyway and caught fire, said the police.

The driver was trapped in the car following the accident at about 1715 hrs. Later his burnt body was found.

The body has been taken to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

The cause of the fire was not known and the identity of the person was being ascertained, police added.
