Jordan seeks peaceful resolution to Kashmir issue
New Delhi, Nov 30 (UNI) Jordan today sought peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue between India and Pakistan.
''India and Pakistan should find a peaceful solution to the Kashmir issue that will allow the people to live in peace,'' Jordanian King Abdullah II ibn al Hussein said, while delivering an address on 'Jordan and India: Prospects for Cooperation' at the Indian Council of World Affairs here.
The 44-year-old monarch, who was accompanied by his wife Queen Rania El Abdullah on a three-day state visit, also sought support from India for the Palestenian and Iraqi cause to stop the spread of terrorism in the region.
''We must reverse this dangerous trend and bring peace in the region,'' he said.
