Jharkhand heading towards President's Rule: BJP
Ranchi, Nov 30 (UNI) Expressing concern over the fast deterioration of political situation in Jharkhand, BJP state president Yadunath Pandey today said President's rule was the need of the hour.
Mr Pandey said the state was heading towards President's Rule adding that the already fluid political scene here became more vulnerable after Jharkhand Mukti Morcha president Shibu Soren was found guilty of plotting to kill his former personal assistant.
Addressing a press conference here the state BJP president said Mr Soren should have resigned from the post of chairman of UPA's state steering committee.
The JMM had been formed with the mission of getting a separate state and it should have been abolished following creation of the new state six years ago, Mr Pandey said adding some people were still making use of the JMM.
