Jhabua man sets longest marathon singing record
Jhabua, MP, Nov 30 (UNI) Thirty one-year-old Mukesh Chandrawat has created a record by singing 'Ramdhun Amrutvani' continuously for 121 hours breaking a recent record set by Indore-resident Deep Gupta, who sang for 101 hours at a stretch.
Mukesh, a painter, began singing at 1130 hrs on Friday and continued it until 1230 hrs yesterday at 'Kali Devi' temple.
After creating the new record, Mukesh was garlanded by villagers and welcomed with trumpets.
Collector Rajkumar Pathak and Superintendent of Police Umesh Joga among other prominent citizens congratulated him.
In his journey to creating the record, Mukesh took break of 10 minutes in every 12 hours.
Earlier, Akanksha and Sania Syed had created records by singing continuously for 61 and 64 hours respectively.
