Hrithik Roshan attributes superhero status to fathe

Panaji, Nov 30 (UNI) Basking under the super success of his latest film ''Dhoom 2'', Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan and his entire family were present for the screening of ''Krrish'' at the Kala Academy here this evening in the Mainstream section of the 37th IFFI.

Speaking on the occasion, Hrithik who plays a super hero in the film said he owned his super hero status to his father ,a persevering human being who was a super hero himself.

''He is a man of steel and I have been raised by him which is the secret of my success,''he added to an applause from the audience.

Hrithik ,clad in a green jacket was accompanied by his wife Suzzane Khan-Roshan and parents Rakesh and Pinky Roshan.

The entire family was felicitated by Chief Minister Pratap sinh Rane and Minister of culture Digambar Kamat.

Mr Rane said Hrithik was his favourite hero and he had liked ''Lakshya'' very much. ''Rakesh Roshan entered films two years before I entered politics,'' the chief minister said.

Kala Academy was jam packed during the presentation ceremony.

When the screening began, many of them left. ''I have seen the film ten times'', said one delegate.

Earlier when television reporters asked him on how he felt that his ''Dhoom 2'' has been a runaway success, Hrithik replied, ''It feels good.'' UNI MR MQA RN2224
