History-sheeter shot dead near court

Sultanpur, Nov 30 (UNI) A history-sheeter was shot dead by some miscreants near the civil court premises here this afternoon.

Additional Superintendent of Police Rakesh Shankar said notorious criminal Hriday Narayan Mishra of Amaremau was shot by unidentified assailants.

As many as 12 cases of loot and murder were pending against him.

A case had been registered.
