DK resort to agitation on Sankararaman murder case

Puducherry, Nov 30(UNI) Volunteers of the Dravidar Kazhagam(DK) led by its local president V S Sambandam today held a demonstration here to press their demands.

They were demanding that the Sankararaman murder case be expedited.

The murder case was pending before the Puducherry Principal District and Session Court, following a Supreme Court stay on conducting the proceedings.

The Apex Court had stayed the proceedings on a Special Leave Petition(SLP) from the Defence on the continued appearence of the Tamil Nadu Special Public Prosecutor in the case in Puducherry.
