Deputy engineer assaults wife's paramour

Surat, Nov 30 (UNI) A deputy engineer is alleged to have assaulted his wife's paramour here.

A deputy engineer with Ukkai thermal power plant, V C Chaudhuri, and three others allegedly went to the house of of one Rajubhai Kalubhai Patel and assaulted him and his brother yesterday evening, police said.

Investigations into the motive of the crime have revealed that Rajubhai's brother was having illicit sexual relations with the engineer's wife, police added.
