Cisco appoints new President for India operations

New Delhi, Nov 30 (UNI) Cisco(r) today appointed Mr Jangoo Dalal as President of its India and SAARC operations.

He will report directly to Mr Owen Chan, Cisco's President, Asia Pacific Operations.

Mr Dalal has been with Cisco for more than nine years and has headed the company's enterprise and commercial operations in India for the last two years.

Prior to this, he was based in Singapore and was responsible for developing Cisco's Channel Operations and Strategy function, across the Asia Pacific region.

''We are very pleased that Mr Jangoo will be taking on the role of President for India and SAARC operations. As a long-time Cisco veteran, he brings an impressive and broad range of skills to this important leadership position,'' said Mr Chan.

Cisco is the leading supplier of networking equipment and network management for the Internet.
