Bali urges Centre to start regular flights to Shimla, Kangra
Shimla, Nov 30 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Transport and Tourism Minister G S Bali has urged the Centre to introduce regular flights to Shimla, Kangra and Bhuntar towns of the state.
Besides introducing regular flights to Shimla, Bhuntar and Kangra towns of the state, the Bhuntar airport should also be expanded, he asked Union Minister for Civil Aviation Praful Patel during his meeting with him yesterday.
Mr Bali also discussed various schemes of the aviation ministry and requested special facilities for the state keeping in view its geographical conditions.
Expressing his gratitude to the Aviation Minister for starting air services from Pathankot Civil Enclave he said the effort would promote tourism, especially in Kangra and Chamba areas in the state.
