4 CPI(Maoist) ultras killed in intergang rivalry

Chatra, Nov 30 (UNI) Four hardcore ulras of the banned naxal outfit CPI(Maoist) including an area commander were killed in inter-gang rivalry late last night in this district of Jharkhand.

Superintendent of Police Subodh Prasad today said the naxalite outfit was holding a meeting at Banasam village under Kunda police station when their rival group Tritiiya Prastuti Committee (TPC) attacked them.

During the ensuing gun battle that lasted for two hours sub-zonal area commander Satan Bharti, area commander Dara Ganjhu and two other cadrers of the CPI (Maoist) were killed.

Police recovered incriminating documents, mobile phones, diaries from the possession of the four bodies.
