3 hardcore HM militants killed in Udhampur

Jammu, Nov 30 (UNI) Three hardcore militants of Hizbul Mujahideen outfit were gunned down today by the security forces at Mahore in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, a defence spokesman said.

The militants were killed in an encounter with the Rashtriya Rifles at Deol Marg in Mahore area this afternoon, Defence spokesman Lt Col S D Goswami said.

The slain militants were identified as Shabbir Ahmed, Abdul Hameed alias Ashiq and Mohammad Ameen alias Junaid.

Security forces also recovered one AK rifle, two UGBL, one SLR and a pistol from the site, sources said.
