Woman ends life

Jammu, Nov 29 (UNI) A woman committed suicide by hanging herself with the ceiling fan at village Chandrok under Ramban police station in Doda district last evening.

Police sources said the deceased Hanifa Begum had estranged relations with her husband Abdul Rehman for the past several years and the latter used to harass her. She is survived by three children.

The incident came to light when Rehman returned home. The neighbours immediately informed Ramban Police about the incident and a police team swung into action.
