Virgin Atlantic launches new 'Double Miles-Double Smiles' scheme

Mumbai, Nov 29 (UNI) United Kingdom's second largest long haul airlines Virgin Atlantic has announced the 'Double Miles - Double Smiles' offer as a part of its on-going frequent flyers unique intiatives for its upper class members on its India-London sector.

A company release today said the extra generous offer enables the discerning Upper Class flyer to earn double miles pretty faster and might just give a chance to convert their earthly miles into space miles and earn a trip to space to join the 100 mile high club.

Neha Lidder Ganju, Marketing Manager (India), Virgin Atlantic, said,''With the Double Miles - Double Smiles offer, flying Virgin Atlantic this season promises our frequent flyers to earn miles faster and redeem them on several unusual and fun rewards that only Virgin Atlantic can offer''.

The release further adds that the Double miles offer continues till January 15, 2007 and can be availed thrice during the promotional period. The exclusive offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer and is not valid on reward tickets, upgrades from premium economy to upper class and miles plus money on Upper Class.

The miles and tier points can only be credited to a flyer's bunch of mileage on completion of the journey.

Virgin Atlantic Airways currently operates 14 flights every week between India and the UK with daily services to London from Delhi and Mumbai. With the recent launch of its Upper Class Suite, Virgin Atlantic offers best in-class service to Indian traveller, enthralling passengers with its unique on-board bar and in-flight massage and award-winning in-flight entertainment, the release said.
