UPSC-Geologists examination 2005 result declared

New Delhi, Nov 29 (UNI) The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results of Geologists' examination held by the Commission in November 2005 and the interviews for personality test held in October this year.

According to an official release here today, the total number of candidates recommended for appointment in this list of category-I Geologists (Junior) Group "A" is 95, including 15 candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, 7 belonging to Scheduled Tribes and 34 belonging to other Backward Classes. Two posts were reserved for physically handicapped (hearing Impaired) candidates.

No physically handicapped candidate under this category, particularly hearing impaired, appeared in the examination.

Appointment will be made according to the number of vacancies available with due consideration to the provisions contained in Rule 13.
