Ultras set ablaze vehicles of construction company

Jamshedpur, Nov 29 (UNI) A group of naxalites set two dumpers and a motor bike on fire at Boram village under Padamda police station early today.

East Singhbhum Superintendent of Police Ashish Batra told UNI that the vehicles belonging to the construction company K K Builders, had been engaged for Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna.

Mr Batra said the ultras fled after setting the vehicles ablaze and the vehicles were completely gutted. However, no one was injured in the fire, he said.

Senior police officers rushed to the spot. Police patrolling was intensified in and around the area following the incident and raid was being conducted to nab the extremists, Mr Batra said.
