Two from Mumbai arrested for forging film festival delegate cards
Panaji, Nov 29 (UNI) Two persons from Mumbai were today apprehended for allegedly forging the delegate cards of the ongoing International Film Festival of India (IFFI) here.
Deputy Inspector General of Police (crime) Ujwal Mishra said the two were held and were being interrogated.
The police and IFFI volunteers were on alert following reports that the fake ID cards were in circulation, he added.
Over 6,000 delegates have registered for the event as against the 2,300 seating capacity in the 4-screen Inox theatre complex and the Kala Academy, the main venue of the event.
