Two die of cold in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Nov 29 (UNI) Two deaths due to cold were reported in the state inspite of a respite in the cold wave.
The winter chill in Rajasthan has been considerably off set by a strong sun shine during the day.
According to police sources, two labourers Rameshwar (45) of Bajaj Nagar in Jaipur and Rajmal (40) in Kota have died of cold.
Mount Abu in Rajasthan has been the coldest place in the state with the mercury dropping to 6.4 degree celsius while Ganganagar is followed by 7.4 degree celsius.
According to the Weather office here, some parts of the state may experience an increase of two degree celsius in the temperature while in Jaipur the mercury has dropped by two degrees celsius at 9.4 today compared to yesterday.
Barmer reported a minimum temperature of 8.8, Pilani 8.1, Churu and Jaipur 9.4, Dholpur 9.5, Bharatpur 10.1, Udaipur and Jodhpur 11, Jaisalmer 12.7, Bikaner and Sawai Madhopur 13, Bundi 14, Rawatbhata 15.1, Ajmer 15.2, Kota 16.6 and Jhalawar 17.4 degree celsius in the past 24 hours.
