Three children resued

Surat, Nov 29 (UNI) Three children from various parts of Udhna area have been rescued by the Labour Department officials.

Police said the three children, below 14 years of age, were rescued from various houses from Udhna yesterday.

Labour department officers noticed that the children were given less wages and menial food, affecting their health condition adversely.

A case has been registered against the employers as per the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Act, sources added.
