Sukhbir Badal appears in court in criminal case

Moga, Nov 29 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) General Secretary Sukhbir Singh Badal, MP, today appeared in the court of additional Chief Judicial Magistrate J S Chouhan at Faridkot and submitted bail bonds of Rs 50,000 each, in two different cases pending in the court with one surety.

Mr Badal is facing two cases registered against him on the complaints of scribes of Kotkapura on the direction of Punjab and Haryana High Court. The court earlier granted him interim bail.

The court directed Mr Badal to appear in the court of the district and sessions judge in a case under section 307 IPC on December 7. The other case of snatching of camera of a photo journalist will remain in the court of additional Chief Judicial Magistrate and the court also fixed December 7 for framing the charges against Mr Badal in this case.
