South African U-17 cricketers to play in India
Chandigarh, Nov 29 (UNI) The Chandigarh Twenty-20 Cricket Association under-17 XI will play a match against Alberton Cricket and Hockey Club of South Africa on December 10 at Tau Devi Lal Cricket Stadium in Panchkula.
The South African cricket team will be visiting India from December 5 to January 9 next year to play matches in various states and union territories.
In this region, the visitors will play at Ambala, Chandigarh, Panchkula, Dharamshala and Mohali. The visiting club are likely to play against Ambala-Chandigarh Cricket Association, Haryana Cricket Association, Chandigarh Twenty-20 Cricket Association, Haryana Twenty-20 Cricket Association, St John's School, DAV College Centre of Cricketing Excellence, Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association, Minerva Cricket Association and Punjab Cricket Association, according to North Zone convener I D Kamboj.
Meanwhile, the Chandigarh Twenty-20 Cricket Association will conduct selection trials on December 1 at Panchkula. The selected probables will attend a coaching camp in preparation for the match against the South African club on December 10.
