Saurav to clash with Sanyal in junior badminton final

Chandigarh, Nov 29 (UNI) Local lad Saurav Kapoor entered the boys singles final beating Oscar Bansal of Chandigarh in the semi-final of the of 31st Junior National Badminton Championship at the Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex in Panchkula.

Saurav, who became the first Haryana player to reach final, won in straight games 21-11, 21-17.

Saurav will meet top seed Jishnu Sanyal of Air India in the final tomorrow. Jishnu ousted his collegue Srujan Nandlur 21-14, 21-17.

It will be an all-Maharashtra affair in the girls singles final as Arundhati Pantiwane plays Aditi Mutatkar. In the semi-finals, Arundhati Pantiwane defeated Ashewani Ponappa 21-11, 21-1 and Aditi Mutatkar ousted Neha Pandit of Air India 10-20, 21-14, 21-11.
