Sanguine Media takes over Rohinie Media

Chennai, Nov 29 (UNI) The-city based Sanguine Media Limited, as part of its expansion plan through lateral acquisition, has taken over the business of Rohinie Media, Coimbatore.

Rohinie Media is a ten-year old media company providing sales promotion, print media advertisement, rural marketing activities and other media related services to Coimbatore and Madurai-based clients.

Sanguine has now expanded its reach in rural Tamil Nadu and would provide a one stop solution for all corporate clients targeting South Indian rural markets, a company release here said.

With the takeover, Sanguine's top line was expected to grow from over Rs 2.50 crore to Rs four crore per annum in rural marketing and below the line activities. Sanguine recently took over Godavari Ads, based in Andhra Pradesh, providing rural marketing services, it said.

Sanguine achieved turnover of Rs 423.54 lakh in the second quarter ending September 2006, against Rs 295.62 lakh in the corresponding quarter last year, marking an increase of 43.27 per cent.

Net profit for the second quarter was Rs 55.12 lakh against Rs 31.22 lakh in the same period last year, with a growth of 76.54 per cent, the release said.
