SAD to announce candidates for Assembly polls in January

Fatehgarh Sahib, Nov 29 (UNI) The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) will announce the candidates for the 117 Assembly seats in Punjab in January next year, party General Secretary Capt Kanwaljit Singh said today.

Talking to mediapersons at Mandi Gobindgarh, he said that party would field honest, dedicated and candidates with a clean image in the Assembly elections to be held in February. The failure of Amarinder Singh government on all fronts would be the main poll plank of the SAD-BJP combine, he added.

He claimed that the state government had failed to live upto the aspirations of the people.
