RSB acquires US-based company

Jamshedpur, Nov 29 (UNI) RSB,a Jamshedpur-based India's leading engineering and automotive components manufactures, today announced the acquisition of US-based Miller Brothers Mfg for 19 million US dollars.

Through this acquistion, RSB would have a base in the heart of one of the world's biggest automotive market and woud gain access to the European markets as well, said Chairman of the company R K Behra at press meet today.

Mr Behra said the acquisition of Miller Brothers, a Michigan-based private automotive components and products manufacturing company, would significantly increase RSB's international manufacturing, product design and marketing capacity and together they would focus on incresing their market presence in the global arena.

Chris Mller, Ex-CEO, Miller Brothers, said this synergistic relationship would allow the company to leverage RSB's comprehensive product offerings in the auto and heavy vehicles'sector and strong quality prcesses in the company's customer base.

Managing Director of RSB S K Behra said the company is all set for giant leap in growth graph and the present turnover of Rs 450 crore is poised to cross four-digit figure of Rs 1000 crore in 2008.

He said the company is on expanding mode as apart from state-of-the -art facilities in Jamshedpur, Pune and Dharwad in Karnataka.
