Robbers decamp with a booty worth Rs 9.88 lakh

Mumbai, Nov 29 (UNI) Unidentified robbers allegedly broke into the official premises of Trans Mobile and decamped with Rs 9.88 lakh in cash at Poonam Nagar, Andheri (E) in the western suburbs of the metropolis.

According to the complainant Ms Radhika Seth (40), last night around 2145 hrs they had closed their office and gone home.

Today morning at around 0830 hours when they opened their office, they were shocked to find the door broken and cash totalling Rs 9.88 lakh missing from the cupboard.

A case of house breaking has been registered and further investigations are in progress, police said.
