Results of Geologists' Exam. declared

New Delhi, Nov 29 (UNI) A total of 95 candidates, including 15 belonging to the Scheduled Castes and seven to the Scheduled Tribes, have been selected for the appointment in Category-I Geologists (Junior) Group A, the examination for which was held by the UPSC in 2005.

Of the selected candidates, 34 belong to Other Backward Classes (OBCs).

Two posts were reserved for physically handicapped (hearing impaired) candidates. However, no physically handicapped candidate under this category appeared in the examination.

The examination was held by the UPSC in November 2005 and the interviews for Personality Test were held in October this year.

The candidature of 8 candidates bearing Roll Nos. 0669, 1818 1921, 2445, 5293, 7051, 7532 and 7547, is provisional, UPSC said in statemnent here today.
