MOSCOW, Nov 28 (Reuters) The Kremlin today said that Russian President Vladimir Putin ''regretfully'' would not be able to visit Riga for a meeting with the French and Latvian presidents on the fringes of a NATO summit.
Kremlin deputy spokesman Dmitry Peskov said there had been discussions of such a visit to take place tomorrow at the end of the summit of the transatlantic military alliance.
He went on: ''However, regretfully, given the impossibility of co-ordinating the working schedules of the three presidents this visit will not take place.'' REUTERS SBA BST0154
