Prevention better than cure for AIDS : Razi

Ranchi, Nov 29 (UNI) Jharkhand Governor Syed Sibte Razi today said prevention was better than cure for AIDS and urged youths to be aware of the disease.

Mr Razi participating in the nine-km-long human chain involving school children, teachers, educationists, doctors and intelluctuals, said a strong campaign was the need of the hour to make people aware of AIDS.

The human chain was first step of the three-day programme, organised to mark the World Aids Day by Jharkhand State Aids Contol Society (JSACS).

JSACS had also planned to organise a series of programmes in this regard.

A mobile van would also be flagged off on November one which would visit every nook and corner of the state.
