Parihar gang plans abduction of cold storage owners
Morena(MP), Nov 29 (UNI) Dreaded dacoit gang led by Jagjivan Parihar, operating in the trijunction of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, has plans to abduct for ransom potato traders and cold storage directors of Uttar Pradesh.
The gang, carrying a reward of Rs 5 lakh, at present has no victim in its captivity. Though it has no immediate plans to kidnap people from Madhya Pradesh because of delay in receiving ransom, the gang may prefer to keep the hostages in the state, according to Rajendra and Ramlakhan Gurjar, who were freed by the gang recently after holding them hostage for a month.
Giving details of the discussions among 12 prominent members of the gang, they told UNI that the gang had plans to abduct people from Uttar Pradesh and to keep them in Madhya Pradesh. Due to increased police pressure, it did not find UP a safe place.
The released hostages said the gangsters were armed with sophisticated weapons and changed their locations very often.
Parihar's brother Padamveer and uncle Babu were also members of the gang. Often, the gang's strength rose to 20.
