One killed in stampede in Alwar quake
Jaipur, Nov 29 (UNI) One person was killed today and four children injured in a stampede following the quake which hit parts of Rajasthan.
A sixth standard student Rekha, of a school at Chatarpura village under Bansur police station died in a stampede as children rushed out of the building after the quake, measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale, was felt at 1115 hrs.
Four students of a school in Naugav village were injured in the ensuing melee, according to the police.
There are reports of cracks developing in many houses in the Chatarpura, Naugav and Malakheda villages in the district due to the tremor.
