North-West monsoon weak over Kerala, Lakshadweep

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 29 (UNI) The North-West monsoon was weak over Kerala and Lakshadweep during the past 48 hours.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at isolated places in Kerala, while dry weather prevailed over Lakshadweep, the local weather office said here.

Kannur and Kozhikode received two and one cm of rain respectively.

Punalur recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 21 deg C.

Rain or thundershowers would occur at isolated places in Kerala and Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours, it added.
