NLFT rebel shot dead in encounter

Agartala, Nov 29 (UNI) A National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) rebel was killed in an encounter with state police at Kanchanpur sub-division in Tripura's north district.

Police said the encounter took place at Setuduar where a country made gun and some documents recovered from the slain rebel.
