Minister peeved at Governor's letters to K'taka Govt
Bangalore, Nov 29 (UNI) Expressing displeasure over the two letters written by Karnataka Governor T N Chaturvedi to the State Government asking it to pay attention to the routine works, Water Resources Minister K S Eshwarappa today said it did not augur well for a democratic set up.
The Governor had dashed off the letters to the State Government, asking it to ensure that the Ministers remained accessible to the public instead of devoting all their time to campaigning for the December four Chamundeswari Assembly bypoll.
''It is not correct to say that the entire Cabinet is camping in Chamundeswari for campaigning for the JD(S) candidate,'' Mr Eshwarappa told reporters here.
Expressing shock at the Election Commission issuing notice to Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy for alleged violation of the model code of conduct, he said Congress candidate Siddaramaiah would bite the dust in the bypoll.
