Leftists have dual character: Govindacharya

Indore, Nov 29 (UNI) Former BJP General Secretary and ideologue K N Govindacharya today alleged that all political parties in the country were abetting the interests of foreign economic forces and said the Left parties also have a dual character.

''On the one hand the Left parties oppose the Centre's policy on foreign investment, while on the other they attracted foreign investment in Kerala and West Bengal on the pretext of reconstruction. This showed their dual character,'' he told mediapersons here on his two-day visit to participate in the ''Jal Sansad''.

Both ruling and opposition parties are united against the common man and all political parties have deviated from their values and ideologies, he said, adding the Congress and NDA governments opened the doors for foreign investment and abetted it.

Referring to the setting up of malls and special economic zones, he said problems being faced by farmers still remain unresolved.
